Paint the Town Blue this November - Ferronato Announces Donation Drive for Diabetes Awareness Month

As the month of November rolls in, we can’t help but think about how quickly the year went by! It’s been a year of growth, change, and reflection at Ferronato, but this month has always been a special time for our brand.

Inspired by our CEO Alessia Ferronato’s personal journey with type 1 Diabetes, we celebrate the relentless spirit of Diabetes warriors every November.  

For 2024, we envisioned taking our efforts to spread Diabetes awareness even further!

We’re pleased to announce that Ferronato will be partnering with Fondation Diabète-Soleil-Enfant (FDSE) for the month of November, with 10% of proceeds from each blue product sold on the Ferronato website and at our flagship store in Lausanne, Switzerland being donated to support someone with Diabetes. 

FDSE is a Geneva-based charity that supports children and teenagers with diabetes by offering them opportunities to attend outdoor camps where they can safely engage in various activities while learning to manage their diabetes.

14th November is marked as World Diabetes Day across the globe, but for the 422 Million people dealing with this ailment, every day requires special care and effort to manage their condition. 

For the not-so-well-versed, insulin is critical for the survival of every Diabetes warrior, and we hope for a world where insulin affordability and pricing parity are given the attention they deserve. 

Until then, proceeds from your purchase could help drive real change in someone’s life by contributing to insulin availability and essential research as well.

Our commitment to a 10% donation with every product sold stems from the fact that blue is celebrated as the official color for Diabetes Awareness Month.
